Complex utility relocations to enable critical infrastructure in Parramatta

A key piece of infrastructure was delivered in Parramatta for the local community, with Kinvara engaged across multiple relocations throughout the project, from the initial stages of utility relocations to the completion of the stabling yard in Camelia.
Kinvara was contracted by several stakeholders to complete a variety of workscopes, including road crossings, manhole construction, and works around live fuel lines, HV and LV electrical networks, and HP gas lines.
A major challenge on the project was working in contaminated and water-charged ground. Careful planning and the safe installation of temporary works were critical, particularly around live services and active traffic. Despite these challenges, Kinvara successfully completed complex sewer and water connections and enabled the civil works for the light rail project.
