Moorebank Interstate Terminal & Rail Access
Complex services and earthworks delivery for a major intermodal terminal
The Moorebank Interstate Terminal Development and Rail Access Project is a nationally significant infrastructure initiative that has transformed the movement of containerised freight across Sydney and Australia’s east coast.
Kinvara delivered approximately 6 kilometres of multi-service infrastructure, including stormwater and fire water pipelines with associated hydrants and valves, along with bulk earthworks incorporating Selected Zone Material (SZM) and Heavy Bound Base (HBB) to prepare pavement formations across the precinct.
The project required careful coordination within a highly active construction environment, proactive identification of service clashes, and consistent achievement of compaction standards across extensive backfilling works. Through detailed planning and disciplined execution, Kinvara successfully delivered the works to support the timely progression of this critical freight infrastructure.
