Complex pipework upgrades in live treatment plant environments

The Lower South Creek Project across the Riverstone, Quakers Hill and St Marys Water Treatment Plants was a critical infrastructure upgrade for Western Sydney, enabling the network to support up to 500,000 people by 2040.
Kinvara Civil delivered a range of complex pipework upgrades within live treatment plant environments, completing polyethylene and SCL pipe installations ranging from 300mm to 1500mm in diameter. The works were undertaken in highly congested corridors, requiring careful diversion and support of existing live services while installing large-diameter pipework.
The project presented significant technical and safety challenges and demonstrated Kinvara Civil’s practical problem solving approach, adaptability and ability to deliver complex works within constrained operational environments.
